Good Bite Day 2 | Wind, Clouds & a Hot Trout Bite at Fort Island Trail

This is Good Bite Day 2, filmed on October 20th, 2025, launching out of Fort Island Trail on Florida’s Nature Coast. This trip started off as a beautiful calm morning, but before long the clouds rolled in and the wind picked up. Luckily, the fishing picked up right along with it. I caught a bunch of sea trout, ladyfish, and lizard fish, and had two shark hits that both came unbuttoned before I could get them in. Later in the afternoon, the clouds burned off almost as fast as they showed up, and the day turned right back into a sunny Florida afternoon. Like the first Good Bite Day video, this was another trip where I lost a lot of footage after my hard drive crash. Some of the recovered files were corrupted, and several clips had no sound. This was also around the time I started using loop recording and forgot to stop recording after catching fish, so a few good moments got overwritten.
