Angela Rayner has given her backing to incoming prime minister Andy Burnham’s plans to move power out of Westminster and into town halls around the country. The Labour MP and former deputy prime minister said she wanted to see “a much deeper cultural change” in how Britain is governed, and also hit out at her party in Government for not being bold enough in its agenda.
