Enjoy an enchanting traditional afternoon tea in London Adding a theatrical twist to traditional afternoon tea in London, Swan’s 'Romeo and Juliet' afternoon tea is inspired by the beauty and lyricism of Shakespeare's great romantic tragedy. They opened their doors at the iconic Shakespeare’s Globe, on the banks of the Thames, in early 2007. Set over three vibrant floors, their British menus are inspired by the very best seasonal English produce. They are just a short stroll from Tate Modern and Borough Market, and our bar, restaurant and private dining rooms all have enviable views of the River Thames and St Paul’s Cathedral. It's also a great place to go if you're looking for that special valentines meal with a loved one. With sweeping views of the River Thames, elegant decor and delicious menus, the Swan restaurant is the perfect place to celebrate St. Valentine's Day. This Valentine's Day evening, our chefs will be serving a special set tasting menu that includes a starter of Dorset crab and fennel cream with lobster jelly and caviar and a main course of corn-fed Gressingham chicken breast and leg with morel sauce and truffle mash potatoes. For desserts try our irresistible Yorkshire Rhubarb mouse and poached, sweet wine ice cream. Our Private Dining rooms are perfect for those wishing to share Valentine's with all their friends and loved ones. Our Bull Room dining table seats up to 16 guests, or reserve The Snug in our bar for standing cocktails and small plates for up to 30 guests including some with lounge seating.
