Jubilee Silver Surfer Day One | Good Card, Tough Competition | Marvel Snap

Jubilee Silver Surfer is here — and on day one she felt promising but complicated. In this deck guide I put the Surfing Fireworks deck through 11 games to see what the newest card in Marvel Snap is actually capable of. The deck is built around Jubilee Silver Surfer's ability to buff every card drawn after she hits the board, pairing her with Silver Surfer, Jeff the Baby Dolphin, Venus and a strong 3-Cost core to maximise the value of those buffs. The gameplan is straightforward but the execution requires some careful decision making — particularly around when to play Jubilee Silver Surfer versus the other strong 4-Cost options in the deck like Mother Askani and Stick. The session ended 6-5, a 54.5% win rate and +5 cubes. Jubilee Silver Surfer felt good when she hit but at times felt like she was competing for a spot against cards that were hard to leave out. Whether she earns a permanent place in the deck is still up for debate — but the potential is definitely there.
