I Tried Jubilee Silver Surfer With Mister Negative... | Marvel Snap

What happens when you flip Jubilee Silver Surfer's cost with Mister Negative? A 2-Cost 4-Power draw buffer sounds great in theory — but does the deck construction hold up in practice? In this video I put the Silver Cuckoo deck through 10 games to find out. The idea was to build a Mister Negative deck with Jubilee Silver Surfer as a key piece, backed up by Esme Cuckoo as an alternative win condition. The early signs were encouraging but cracks appeared quickly — Jane Foster didn't have enough 0-cost targets post-Negative, and Ravonna Renslayer felt awkward alongside Storm Horseman of Famine. There were good moments though, including a late game where Jubilee Silver Surfer buffed White Tiger from a 5-1 to a 5-14 to help secure a win. The session ended 4-6, a 40% win rate and -4 cubes. The idea has merit and there were flashes of something genuinely exciting — but the execution needs work. Maybe a better deck builder can take these pieces further!
