Diario de viaje - Chile, Pucón (26/09/2012)

In this episode, Damián Alcázar visits the city of Pucón, located in the Araucanía region in southern Chile. The first person to greet us is Max González, who invites us to admire the landscape of Lake Villarrica while he tells us about the area's enormous wealth of flora and fauna. We also visit the active Villarrica volcano, one of Chile's most important. There, Gonzalo Vilches welcomes us to talk about this majestic giant. Later, Damián Alcázar meets two extraordinary women dedicated to preserving one of Chile's ancestral cultures: the Mapuche. They are Ana Epulef, a Mapuche cook, and Sandra Rojo, a renowned artist who makes looms with plants typical of the Araucanía foothills. Finally, Damián shows us Lake Pirehueico, which is one of the most beautiful routes to travel to Argentina.
