Wapiti Creek trail - Lightning Lake Loop
This is a beautiful hiking area that has trail most of the way. But there is some off-trail areas mainly because nobody hikes in some of the places, so you will have to use your navigation skills. There is a chance of seeing people on the Lightning Lake trail and the beginning of the Wapiti trail. But the area that I have my bear spray out, the upper portions of the trail, I have never seen a hiker. This is a great area to see grizzly bears and black bears. I saw the grizzly in this video about 1 mile away, but as you will see, there is grizzly evidence everywhere. This area is to the northwest of Yellowstone National Park.
