Most of the necessary parts have finally arrived, so we can move on to assembling and restoring the bike. First up, we're replacing the engine and gearbox seals to permanently fix the oil leak we discovered during our previous inspection. This is what forced us to disassemble the bike practically down to the last screw. The next step is installing a new clutch kit. Although the previous one didn't show excessive wear, with over 110,000 kilometers on the clock, we decided to replace the entire assembly as a precaution to avoid having to disassemble the motorcycle again in the future. Next, we bolted on the subframe and tidied up the electrical system, ensuring all the wires and connectors were back in place. Finally, we installed the throttle bodies and prepared the motorcycle for the next stage of assembly. The BMW is slowly starting to look like a motorcycle again. Although we still have a lot of work ahead of us, with each step, the results of our efforts are becoming increasingly clear, and we're getting closer to our goal.
