How CHINESE MOTORCYCLES Flooded the Polish Market We remember the days – it wasn't long ago – when Chinese motorcycles – scooters and motorcycles – were associated with despised farts, cheap and shoddy scooters, disposable motorcycles, motorcycle-like products, and so on. This was the first decade of the 21st century, the era of hypermarket scooters, automotive Januszex models, and "Krzak" scooters. Now it's 2026. What's changed? Today, Chinese motorcycle showrooms and dealerships are opening in the same locations as established motorcycle brands. We've become accustomed to seeing Chinese motorcycles on the streets – no longer 125cc models, but large-capacity ones. However, demand remains unchanged. Just as years ago, affordable Chinese mopeds and 125cc motorcycles found a wide range of interested buyers, importers today struggle to keep up with the Polish market. Zontes, CFMoto, QJ Motor, Voge, Benda, KOVE, ZX Moto, Morbidelli, Moto Morini, Benelli – all these brands are available in Poland. And there are probably some we haven't heard of yet. Industry observers agree – the most important trends and changes in motorcycling are coming from China. How did it all begin? An analogy to the past is popular. The 1960s. Previously strong centers of motorcycling – Great Britain and France – are in crisis, and Japanese manufacturers are gradually entering the motorcycle scene. First, thanks to their affordable price (and economic espionage), they took over the market, then came their success in motorsport and their dominance for decades, not only in the market but also in the imagination of motorcyclists.
