And on this wonderful trip through Peru, we continue to meet beautiful people like Mario, Adriana, Karol, and Steven, a family from Puno who came to greet us. We ended up having dinner at their house and strolling around Puno. Thanks to them, we visited Inca Uyo, the Temple of Fertility. We shared a delicious lunch in Chucuito. We sailed at 3,810 meters above sea level on Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, in Puno. We learned how the Uros people build their floating islands from totora reeds. It was a very enriching day; we sailed on their totora reed boats and contributed by buying some of their beautiful handicrafts. The boat trip to the island cost us 10 soles each, very affordable at 3,800 Argentine pesos. There's also an 8-soles fee for entering the island. Puno and all of Peru continue to surprise us every day.
