I drove My Lamborghini to Belarus

Everyone told me not to take my Lamborghini to Belarus. The Overlanding Facebook groups Full of warnings. Even the Polish border guards stopped me at the crossing: “Are you sure? It’s not too late to turn around.” But I had to see it for myself—and what I found absolutely blew my mind. Yes, it was nerve-racking getting interrogated by the actual KGB, and yes, this is a place that’s semi-sanctioned by the West and labeled a dictatorship. But my experience was nothing like what people tried to scare me with. My first morning, I woke up in the Lambo to a couple jogging by. Moments later, I was in their home, eating fresh eggs and homemade bread. People from the car community, the gym, the clubs—everyone was insanely welcoming. The gym? Cleanest, nicest facility ever.. for next to nothing. At the club? Women left their phones and wallets on tables while dancing, with no fear. No homeless, no visible crime, no drugs. It felt... safe. I even ended up on national news, met dozens of cops (who took selfies with me), and came so close to meeting the president himself. The whole country embraced the journey. Look—I love America. I love our freedoms. But this was one of those moments where you realize: not every country is what the headlines say. I’m not claiming one system is better than the other, just sharing what I actually saw as a tourist. The forests were the cleanest I have observed in all of Europe even the city areas almost void of trash and debris in even the smallest cities. People had a lot of respect for their land and one another, and it showed Yes, Belarus is semi-sanctioned. Yes, it’s labeled a dictatorship by many. Yes, it's likely a bureaucratic nightmare when it comes to business. But I saw what I saw: a country that felt shockingly safe, where people left their phones and wallets unattended at clubs, where I spoke and took photos with dozens of police officers who were curious and supportive of my journey, and where hospitality was off the charts.
