Previously, I had to engineer some... let's call them creative... workarounds to deal with the limitations of the starter machines. Filters, rerouting, and conveyor gymnastics became the norm just to keep commodities flowing where they needed to go. But thanks to this update, starter machines can now be assigned by commodity type instead of individual commodities. That changes everything. With the Second Factory Floor now unlocked, I can dedicate entire starter machine areas to beans, spices, and fruits, creating clean, organized production zones without all the goofy engineering hacks I had been forced to invent. Sometimes the best optimization is the one the developers hand you! This episode marks the beginning of a much cleaner and more scalable factory design, setting the stage for future production lines and even greater efficiency.
