35028 Clan Line Masters the South: Great Britain XVII Day One - 2025

Based on ‘A Castle Visits Salisbury’, which was made last March when 7029 Clun Castle visited Salisbury with the Cathedrals Express, a short trip to Salisbury for 35028 Clan Line. Starting out of London Victoria, steam hauled, day one of the Great Britain XVII ran without problems, with the 35028 leading the way. The Great Britain looked full, as did the platforms at Salisbury, and at the foot crossing when the Merchant Navy left for Bristol. Full advantage was taken of being in Salisbury, as this film features a couple of clips of the town.
