Birding South Africa Part 8: Western Cape incl Tankwa Karoo Oct 21-24
So, this video covers Oct 21 from Stony Point Penguin Colony, to Oct 24 which is the day the trip was over. On Oct 22 we move along the coast, from Cape Town to West Coast NP, then move inland to Ceres where we spend the last 2 nights. Oct 23 we drove inland, almost into the southern part of Tankwa Karoo NP, searching for the birds that's special for that region/habitat. Oct 24 we do the long drive back to Cape Town, with only one short birding stop on the way (Du Toitskloof Pass). Flight home was late the same day, arrival to Stockholm at midday next day. Quite the long flight... All in all, this was a fantastic trip, and as usual I wish I'd filmed more!
