In a bowl, mix the flour, flaked almonds, and sugar. Add the egg whites and mix. Finally, add the butter and mix until smooth. Place the mixture in the refrigerator to firm up slightly. Remove from the oven and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Shape the dough into small mounds and flatten them with a fork as thinly as possible. Cut the paper around each circle of dough with scissors. Place them in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 10 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and immediately place them on a rolling pin or cylindrical jar so they take the tile shape before they cool. Once cool, remove the paper from each tile and store them in a metal container.
