Round 2 of the Cook Out Summer Shootout is in the books — Legend Car racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway with the INEX crew. 🏁 🛒 Shop the store first: https://midlifeclassiccars.com This one was a grind. I hung back on purpose to work on my craft — getting laps, cleaning up my entry, and trying to get the car pointed straight so I can get back on the gas sooner. My exits have been rough and I'm pretty sure it all starts with the entry, so that was the whole mission this round. First time I've ever made it clean through Turn 1 in one of these, so hey — progress. 😅 Had a funny one too: I stayed high to let an Apex Racing buddy by, turns out he was stuck in second gear the whole time. Good laugh about that one after the race. Still figuring this thing out. I feel racy when I'm with the pack, then they dogwalk me down the straight.
