Türkleşen Polonyalılar - İstanbul’daki Polonya köyüne gittim

Turkified Poles! - Why is there a Polish village in Türkiye? Although over 18 million people live in Istanbul, there's a place called Polonezköy in this forested area on the Anatolian side, where the population is not as dense. Only 400 people live here, and many of them are actually of Polish descent. Polonezköy actually means "Village of the Poles." This village, whose name is synonymous with communities of Polish origin, was founded in the 19th century and has remained a home for Polish immigrants and their descendants to this day. In this video, I'll try to explain this little-known cultural heritage in our society in detail. You can support me by subscribing to the channel on the way to 100,000 and liking the video. So, how did the Poles come to these lands so far from their homeland?
