Walking from Kanaya-juku to Nissaka-juku on the old Tokaido road, I found it to be a challenging section with incredibly steep slopes that still drain your energy. It's a place famous in many ways. It's a physically demanding road, but there are many sights to see, and it was an enjoyable road that satisfied intellectual curiosity. ◆There are almost no places to eat along the way except for Koizumiya, which is 20 minutes off the main road, if you miss the area around Suwahara Castle. ◆Please note that there are few buses from Kotomama Hachimangu Shrine, only one every 2-3 hours.
