From Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. Height 174cm, right-handed pitcher and batter. Currently plays for Bic Camera Takasaki in the JD League. She started playing softball in the 3rd grade of elementary school. In her second year at Kyushu Women's High School (now Fukuoka University Affiliated Wakaba High School), she contributed to the team's victory as the ace pitcher in the 1999 World Junior Championships. After graduating from high school in 2001, she joined the Hitachi Takasaki Softball Club (now Bic Camera Women's Softball Takasaki). At the 2008 Beijing Olympics in August, she pitched 413 pitches over 3 games over 2 days, contributing to the gold medal. Since then, she has won numerous individual titles in the Japan League, including MVP, Best ERA Award, and Most Wins Award.
