This episode covers how to pack a mountain bike into the regulation-sized bike box common in expedition racing and other long races. This can be quite an intimidating task for new adventure racers, but is actually pretty straight forward. Remember, you will need to practice the process to make it second nature, just like every other discipline in AR. You can get it down to just over 2 minutes (if you remember where your pedal spanner is 😉) but a reasonable budget is 5 minutes max. FYI, the box measures 140 x 80 x 30cm, and is made out of correx or corflute plastic.
