Walking Camino Primitivo- Day 10 - Lugo/As Seixas

Day 10 - Lugo to As Seixas. 31 km Last night in Lugo I went around the city and walked the city walls. My day was long but I could not pass the opportunity to walk a few extra km to explore the city. I slept at the albergue municipal like most nights. Today’s etapa is very long mostly on pavement which it is not ideal for my feet. Since I reached the 100 km already, it definitely feels I am getting closer to Santiago, and I have this feeling that my Camino is almost over. I realize I only have a few days left and it does really feel weird. Not the excitement I had several days ago, but more like closure. Regardless, I am still enjoying today’s etapa. I can feel some blisters are forming but I don’t feel the need to care much about blisters since I will be done walking soon. I tend to listen to the sounds of El Camino. In particular the birds singing. Walking on pavement is very tiring since I have to pay attention to traffic all the time. Fortunately there is barely any traffic on those roads so walking is somewhat enjoyable. Besides a couple of vending machines along the wall today, there is really nothing much to buy food or water. So make sure you have plenty of food today!!!
