In May 2024, we hiked the Camino Primitivo from Oviedo to Santiago de Compostela. We often read online that this is considered the least traveled and most challenging of all Camino routes. That’s mainly due to the elevation gain rather than the overall distance. We took our time and, despite the changeable weather, had a wonderful experience.
