CZIFFRA LISZT HUNGARIAN FANTASY FOR PIANO AND ORCHESTRA 'LIVE'
Cziffra gives a wonderful free wheeling improvisatory performance of Liszt's Hungarian Fantasy. He performed it along with Liszt's first piano concerto and numerous encores at his Royal Festival Hall London debut in 1957. Both audience and orchestra applauded and cheered for more than twenty minutes and the reviews were sensational. This recording dates from the late 1960s and was followed by Mendelssohn's Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso given as an encore (also uploaded here).
