Baguio Tour with Family [Happened before Papa rushed to the Hospital]

My father has Chronic Kidney Disease started last year around March 2025 he was first confined diagnosed and from then his illness got worsen. He needed continuous monitoring and check up. In the first quarter of 2026 the creatinin level reached 500 which is alarming. So our family search for every possible way to heal him. We’ve reached out thru many doctors and hospital, attended seminar for Kidney Transplant Preparation in National Kidney Transplant Institute and registered in HOPE waiting for Donors. My sister and my mom are the one supporting and helping him. They also bought cook book diet for CKD patients. I’m very grateful to them for taking care of each other. My sister’s maturity in this hard times because of her work and the HMO covering our parents really help us in Papa’s treatments. Honestly, I admit to be useless when it comes to emergency medical situation I faint a lot in hospitals. Then my best friend Clair and her husband who is in the medical field helped us recommended NKTI doctor, he gave Papa medicine that in result the creatinin level goes down around 430. We thought it was a good sign and it’s improving. So I decided to celebrate little wins and fulfill Papa’s wish. I booked a Baguio Tour since Papa requested it before he starts his Dialysis. It has been rocky for our whole family this 2026 because my grandmother passed away last April 10, 2026. It was also the same day when Papa is in the Operating Room for the fistula in his arms. My father lost his mom. I’ve been away for so long I didn’t even make it to my lola’s funeral. It’s heart-breaking, realized family is everything. May 4-6 I decided to go home for short time and spend quality time with them so this 2-Day Tour happened, then after 2 weeks again Papa’s condition worsen rushed by ambulance to Medical City and thankfully to God he was revived and now confined to the ICU still has complications but praying to be better. I really want to thank my sister for taking charge and taking care of our Parents. Also to the people who helped us. We’ll never forget your kindness. God bless you all.
