Fixing up a Crash Damaged WRX

I picked up this 2015 Subaru WRX here in Alaska, sight unseen and as-is, without really knowing what I was getting into. The battery was dead, and the second I opened the door, the smell hit me like a wall. Someone had been chain-smoking in this thing for years, easily one of the most disgusting interiors I've come across. On top of that, it's been wrecked pretty hard. The driver's side fender is caved in and the radiator support is shoved back far enough that the upper radiator hose is now pressed against the front of the engine, so getting it to start without cooking itself is going to take some careful finessing. The car is rough, no doubt about it, but I'm going to work through it and get things going again. It looks unmodified, which is rare for a WRX, but I have no clue if it actually runs, so I'm going to attempt to get it going in this video. Mechanically it does seem healthy, so hopefully the previous owner was just too lazy to mess with it. I dig into everything, sort it out, and try to get it running and driving so I can finally have some fun with it. And, if you want to learn to paint like I do in my videos, I've put together a little community over on skool.com called Make It Match. Hope to see you over there. https://www.skool.com/makeitmatch/about
