I would be very happy and put the water on ;-) ☺️ This breathing exercise according to Wim Hof aims to influence your autonomic nervous system, to which we normally have no access. More precisely, you will activate your so-called "sympathetic nervous system", which puts you in a willingness to perform. Your heart rate increases, body temperature rises, blood pressure rises, the oxygen carrying capacity of the lungs increases and you may sweat a little. You can experience the following positive effects after breathing: improved performance Stress reduction / building resilience Reduction of hyperacidity in the blood improved oxygen uptake Improved defense against bacterial and viral infections helps with inflammatory diseases increased ability to regenerate an increase in sleep quality I recommend that you use this breathing technique every day for at least 3 months to take full advantage of the positive effects. This is a version for "Wim Hof Beginners" or those who previously found the breathing rate to reach a meditative state too fast. You will inhale and exhale rapidly for 30 consecutive rounds for five rounds. Controlled hyperventilation enriches your circulation with much more oxygen in the short term, while your CO2 concentration is significantly reduced. This increases the pH value in the blood and creates a slightly basic environment. Breathe in deeply through your mouth. Use both your abdomen and chest. Unlike when you breathe in, when you breathe out, you just let the air flow, effortlessly. After the 30 breaths of each round, you pause for 90-120 seconds. You will be amazed at how long you can hold out because of your excess oxygen. It is a wonderful state of inner stillness. After the breathing pause, take as deep a breath as you can and hold your breath for another 10 seconds. The three rounds are lined up one after the other without breaks, so that their effect can accumulate. Afterwards you can meditate. Make yourself comfortable. You can do this breathing while lying down or sitting. Important: Even if the breathing rhythm is fast and a bit strenuous for you, try to stay as relaxed as possible. Every tension consumes energy and oxygen. Much joy! If you are pregnant or epileptic and suffer from health problems such as heart problems, I strongly advise you to consult your doctor before carrying out the exercise.
