Thrift an Entire Outfit at a Local Charity Shop: I found Rag & Bone + DIY Designer Inspired Jacket

Welcome to another episode of Secondhand Outfit Search which is a thrift challenge series where I shop one secondhand retailer either in person or online to find an entire outfit. I have to find one or two clothing items, shoes, and an accessory. In this video I am shopping at Things From The Heart Resale (https://shepherdsheartpantry.org/) which is a local charity that feeds families by providing them with free groceries. I start off in the men's section where I find a canvas shirt that I plan on upcycling. I decide to pair it with a skirt and find a blue printed one almost immediately. When I head to the fitting room, I spot a pair of almost brand new Rag & Bone suede espadrille sandals that matched the men's shirt perfectly. A shirt for underneath the soon to be jacket was next as well as a necklace from the extensive jewelry wall that this shop is famous for. At home I begin work on the DIY upcycled Free People inspired jacket by adding vents and patches from secondhand tablecloths and a vintage flour sack that was a gift from my sister. The jacket turns out even better than I had envisioned especially after hand stitching on a blanket stitch with embroidery thread. I stylistically went off course with the jacket being vintage inspired and the shirt and necklace being much more contemporary. I averted a fashion disaster by swapping out the two with pieces I had recently gotten at the same thrift shop for another video. All in all, this outfit ended up being a great spring look as well as adding several items to my wardrobe collection that I can mix and match with what I already have.
