He graduated from flight school as a Warrant Officer in 1967 and was deployed to Vietnam as a Gunship pilot eight months later. After his discharge, Michael went into law enforcement and then became the Chief Pilot for the South Florida Water Management District. He lives in Wellington, Florida.
