Tiger Leaping Gorge Hike with my Daughters - Exceeded My Expectations 🇨🇳

Tiger Leaping Gorge Hike with Kids 🇨🇳 | 2-Day Trek in Yunnan As part of our journey through Yunnan and Sichuan, we spent two days hiking through the incredible Tiger Leaping Gorge — one of the deepest gorges in the world. The trail offers nonstop views high above the Yangtze River, with dramatic mountains, narrow paths, and remote guesthouses along the way. Overall, the hike is not especially demanding and is absolutely doable with kids if you take your time. The only tougher section is the famous “28 bends” climb — where we got some extra help: the girls rode this part on a donkey. We split the hike over two days and stayed in BaDiWan, a perfect stop with a hotel offering floor-to-ceiling views over the gorge. Waking up there was a highlight of the trip.
