The Swiss Valley frozen in the 16th Century - POV walk

Video of the full trip with all details including GPX tracks in the description    • Alone in the Swiss Hidden Valleys   Still picking up my jaw… I have been wanting to visit this valley in the Alps for more than 15 years. It has a mystic reputation of being frozen in time, maintaining, for example, its isolation from the electrical grid and being untouched for hundreds of years. I can’t say why it took so long to finally go there, as it is not especially difficult to reach. When I was finally about to see it with my own eyes, the fear of disappointment after so much buildup was there. And how wrong those fears were. Walking among these stone houses, waterfalls, and moss-covered woods, I found myself more than once wondering whether what I was seeing was actually real. Last weekend my family and I took a couple of days to explore two remote alpine valleys, very surprisingly, almost completely free of other tourists despite it being the weekend and the weather being perfect.
