Pinto corn, which is rarely used for tortillas in Zacatecas anymore, is used daily in this Wirrarika community to make their tortillas. On a rainy day in the Sierra de Monte Escobedo, Beto and Romualdo try to help grind the nixtamal, and to their surprise, it's heavier than they imagined, making them realize how strong the Wirrarika men and women are.
