Three suspected extortionists killed in Bothasig
Three suspected extortionists have been killed in Bothasig in Cape Town during a shootout with officers. The police’s Andre Traut says the incident happened earlier today. Authorities were reacting to information received that seven occupants of a minibus taxi were trying to extort funds from shop owners in Dunoon. Traut says the group opened fire while being pursued.
