Witnessing rescue efforts for Mediterranean migrants
More than 4,000 migrants were rescued from the Mediterranean in just one day last week during some of the heaviest flows of refugees seen this year. Most set off from the Libyan coast, fleeing violence in the Middle East and Africa, and seeking a better life in Europe. Al Jazeera's Hoda Abdel Hamid joined Italian law enforcement officers at sea to get frontline look at the crisis.
