Alternative Provisions are not Specialist Provisions. When a child’s school is deemed as unsuitable or unavailable, it helps to keep this in mind. This video highlights how focusing on the child's individual abilities helps to engage them to learn. Advocating for our children who are living with neurodiverse conditions such as ADHD, Autism (ASD), ODD, PDA, Dyslexia and other individual needs that may fall into the category of learning disabilities, moving through setbacks when support is limited, inconsistent or not available, can be a challenge.
