Finding everything you can metal detecting a colonial site for 5 days

Being as thorough as I could metal detecting this colonial site out in the woods I spent 5 days there hitting it in every way. There is a cellar hole here from the 1700s and miles of massive ancient rock was so reading the landscape history was easy. With all the days there I switched up detector coil sizes and machines. I used my Fisher f19 with stock coil and the Teknetics G2+ with the small 5 inch coil and large 12 inch coil with great results and great finds. I dug up old coins from the 1700s, shoe buckles, clothing buttons, tools, knives, tableware, oxen shoes, dutch oven pieces, all kinds of relics and artifacts. The great find was a war of 1812 Federal artillery button with a cannon on it. Metal detecting old places like this is amazing and takes a lot of work and switching your approach. Follow the wagon trails and ruts, read the land and metal detect everywhere. This is how you find a lot of stuff at a place you have already been to.
