Johann Strauss's comic operetta "Die Fledermaus," sung in English with subtitles, was produced and conducted by Stony Brook Opera's founder David Lawton; Brenda Harris was stage director. THE CAST in order of (vocal) appearance: Alfred-Daveed Buzaglo; Chambermaid Adele-Alina Tamborini; Rosalinde-Julia Radosz; Gabriel Eisenstein-Sidney Outlaw; Lawyer Blind-Morgan Manifacier; Dr. Falke-Christopher Reames; Prison warden-Brian Bernhard; Chambermaid's sister Sally-Catherine Sandstedt; Prince Orlovsky-Natasha Nelson; Orlovsky's major-domo-Lucy Vandevegte; Jailer-Chad Kranak. Characters enter and the story begins at 09:00 following the eight and a half minute overture.
