The JR Wakayama Line is known for its leisurely ride through the tranquil mountains of Nara and Wakayama prefectures. While the 227 series operates as a local train, stopping at every station, there are actually two express trains running between Wakayama and Konagawa, one in the morning and one in the evening. These trains completely destroy the image of the leisurely Wakayama Line. We're updating our travels in real time!
