In this video, I'll take you on my next big adventure: Solo bikepacking through Germany (831km): WEST - EAST. On a gravel bike. Across Germany – around 831 kilometers of bikepacking, with a tent, camera, and a large portion of curiosity about what lies in between. 🚴‍♂️🇩🇪 🚴🏼 I used my gravel bike for the tour: 🔹 Better on changing surfaces (gravel, forest paths, asphalt), simply more versatile and comfortable. 🔹 The more relaxed geometry is much more pleasant for long days in the saddle. 🌍 Route & Highlights My route took me from Selfkant (North Rhine-Westphalia) in the far west to Zittau in the east. Between the Rhine and the Neisse rivers, there were countless kilometers full of scenic diversity, cultural highlights, and little adventures: The ride through the Harz Mountains, the many well-known river cycle paths, and the final kilometers along the Lusatian lake district before the tour ended at the Polish border were particularly impressive. 🌅 💪 I'd like to share all the information for this bikepacking tour: bikepacking tips, gear, routes, bags, etc. Of course, rain, headwinds, and sleepless nights in the tent were also part of the experience – but these are precisely the moments that make it unique.
