Georgia is one of the stops on my route from Russia, through Azerbaijan, and finally to Armenia. Jvari Monastery – one of the most symbolic places in Georgia. Two marshrutkas, a transfer, and then another 4 km uphill walk 🥵 but the view of the confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers and the panorama of Mtskheta makes it all worthwhile 🔥 After sunset, I return to Tbilisi and then set off towards Yerevan. And here begins the surprise… The bus is late, the hotline is down, and an elderly Georgian man approaches me near the Dinamo Tbilisi stadium and says he's "already calling the driver." 🫠 It turns out that instead of a bus, a regular car is arriving.
