Long IFR X-Country in a Diamond DA42 from Seattle to LA Part 1 – KRNT to KLMT

Important – This video is for entertainment only. It is not intended for instruction and should not be used for any training purpose. A friend ‪@JDFallGuiy‬ and I flew the Diamond DA42 from Seattle down to the classic Van Nuys Airport (KVNY) outside of Los Angeles for the Angel Flight West Endeavor Awards. This video is the first leg of the trip … Renton (KRNT) to Klamath Falls (KLMT) in Southern Oregon. We made a fuel stop there. I’ll post the second leg down to Van Nuys shortly. In these videos, my main goal is to share what it’s like to fly these flights in a Twin Diamond. In this one, I have tried to show the nuts and bolts of flying an IFR cross country flight. I hope you enjoy the video. Please LIKE, SHARE and SUBSCRIBE if you do! Learn more about Angel Flight West at: https://angelflightwest.org/ 2018 Diamond DA42 VI with G1000 NXi (Phase II) avionics.
