20 Jul 2025 Power: KJGE WAG9HC 41975 KJGY/Khanalampura Electric Loco Shed, NR. Lone WAG9HC from Khanalampura ELS pulls out BOSM Wagons Rake Freight through Kumta towards South. The Friendly Guard/Train Manager wishes & cheers me for Recording the Passing Event. Passing of the wagons slowly with Huge Difficulty & Struggling Effort Pull by Single Loco gives Clear idea that these wagons are Fully Loaded & is probably carrying Steel Coils, one of the the Heaviest Commodity on Indian Railways. The passing wagons also makes Surroundings Vibrate Strongly, gives sense of Heaviness. Total 47 wagons are moved, Each wagon may carry atleast 2 Steel Coils. Heavy Load + Monsoon Rains Traction issue + Minor Gradient & Curves outside Kumta Station towards South + Single Loco makes Freight pick Quicker Speeds Challenging. BTW This Freight was Stopped at Kumta for allowing Incoming 12620 Matsyaganda Express Crossing. Loco has Saharanpur Stencils for Shed Name, Former Rename for Shed, which was again Reverted back to Old Shed Name - Khanalampura.
