Scotland Broke Me… But the Voge Kept Going | LEJOG Day 5

Day 5 of LEJOG was always going to be the emotional one. After leaving Glasgow, I headed north into the Highlands on my Voge DS625X, following the journey from Land’s End to John O’Groats and continuing the Riding 4 Troops charity ride in aid of Help for Heroes. This was the day I reached Glencoe, found the same spot where I photographed my 125cc bike back in 2008, and then continued on to the Commando Memorial to scatter some of my dad’s ashes. I didn’t film that private moment itself, but I did want to document the ride there, the emotion of arriving, and the feeling of leaving part of my dad somewhere peaceful, beautiful and meaningful. Scotland was absolutely on another level in this episode — lochs, mountains, dramatic skies, and some of the most stunning riding of the whole trip so far. And once again, despite one slightly worrying moment where it didn’t want to start, the Voge DS625X was the hero of the day. Thank you as always for watching. Stay safe out there.
