盆栽工房 春嘉 #186 【真柏の剪定】シャリ幹がお洒落な文人真柏を軽快に仕上げたい　Let’s create a light impression by reducing foliage.

以前長野の盆栽園で買い求めた文人真柏の素材2本。 丁寧に彫刻された板シャリが魅力でした。 その後、枝を配置して持ち込むことと数年。 一本はすでに幾度か展示会で飾ったことがあるお気に入りの一本になりましたが、もう一本の大きな方は未だ完成を見ずにいます。 今回は、その２本の真柏の剪定作業と簡単なシャリ作りをしました。 盆栽は生き物ですので、絶えず木姿もその更新が求められます。 木の持つ個性を損なうことなく、剪定で新たな木としての魅力を表現できればと思います。 When I went on a trip to a bonsai garden in Nagano, I bought two bunjin-style Shinpaku junipers. The slender trunks with a finely carved 'Shari' were really attractive. After that I placed each branches and have been growing them. One of the two has already been displayed at exhibitions and has become one of my favorites. Unfortunately, the larger one has not yet been completed, though. In this video, I am pruning these two junipers and carving some Shari. Bonsai is a living thing and needs to constantly update its appearance little by little.
