Waipoo Falls Hike Waimea Canyon Kauai

We are heading back to the breathtaking Waimea Canyon on Kauai—but this time, we upgraded our ride to a Jeep and tackled the incredible trail to Waipoo Falls! Known as the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific," the dramatic red dirt, deep valleys, and lush green ridges of Waimea are absolutely mesmerizing to see in person. Check out the stunning views along the route as we hike out to the top of the 800-foot Waipoo Falls. To cap off an amazing, dusty day on the trail, we drove down to the south shore, filled up on seafood tacos, and washed off the red dirt at the beautiful Salt Pond Beach Park.
