Today I'm making one of my favorite recipes: chestnut purée. We'll show you how to make a delicious homemade chestnut jam. Chestnut Purée Ingredients 2.5 kg of marroni chestnuts 300 grams of chestnut honey or forest honeydew Orange or peach juice Vanilla sugar ⭐Difficulty: difficult 🥣 Preparation time: 20 minutes, 45 minutes for boiling, plus another 15 minutes for cooking Chestnut Jam Preparation Wash the chestnuts and begin peeling them with a small knife. Remove the outer skin, leaving only the light-colored inside. At this point, boil for 40-45 minutes in salted water. Once cooked, peel the chestnuts one by one to remove the remaining outer skin. Pass the chestnuts through a food mill and, if necessary, use a blender. Place them in a saucepan and sprinkle with orange juice and vanilla sugar. Finally, add the honeydew and mix all the ingredients together. If the mixture is too firm, thin it out with warm water. Continue cooking for about 15 minutes.
