York. Shambles, Minster, City Walls. This week, I spent a couple of days in York celebrating my birthday, and what a wonderful place it was to spend it. I started the day at the magnificent York Minster before making my way through the famous Shambles, with its charming medieval streets and unique shops. From there, I enjoyed a stroll along the beautiful River Ouse before climbing York's historic city walls, where I was treated to some fantastic views across the city. Along the way, I captured plenty of lovely photos of York's rich history and stunning architecture, making it a birthday trip to remember. There are some great photos at the finish.
