I Discovered Mysterious Cabins and a Radioactive Ghost Town in the Desert on Google Earth

When searching for places to explore on Google Earth, I discovered a structure in a very remote, extremely arid, and completely isolated region of the desert in the American Southwest. It was next to a large sandstone tower that rose over 1,000 feet above the arid plains, and was surrounded by oddly colored rocks, alternating between red and yellow like a sand bottle. I zoomed in and discovered more structures. I traced several dilapidated dirt roads leading to the site and came up with a plan. In early January I loaded up my Jeep, grabbed my dog, and drove into a freezing fog that had lingered in the area since a recent storm dropped several inches of snow. In this video, I discover mysterious cabins, washed out roads, narrow sandstone canyons, and…radiation. I didn’t expect what I found out there. Regarding Specific Locations: I generally try to avoid naming specific locations or coordinates, but sometimes make exceptions for areas that are already well-known. I do this to help protect the mystery and pristine qualities of these places.
