I Was Invited to Grade Shiro Utsuri at a Koi Event!

William and I were invited to Clarkes Koi Open Day to grade a selection of Shiro Utsuri and explain exactly what we look for when assessing this striking black-and-white variety of Japanese koi. In this video, we compare the koi in front of us and discuss body shape, conformation, skin quality, shiroji, sumi development, pattern balance and overall future potential.
