In this episode, we return to Ogata Koi Farm for a deeper look behind the scenes of one of Japan’s best-known koi farms. Mr. Ogata shows us the professional setup his team uses to photograph and film koi for their auctions, including the cameras, lighting, bowls, and process used to present each fish. We then walk through his enormous greenhouse containing azukari koi. Mr. Ogata explains how he raises these koi, how they are cared for at the farm, and what goes into helping them continue to develop.
