"Isolamenti" - Viaggio tra i documenti d'archivio di Santo Stefano, Ventotene e Procida.

The exhibition "Isolamenti" (Isolations) opened on January 24th, and will be on display at the State Archives of Naples until April 22, 2023. The exhibition unfolds as a long journey through the archival documents of the prison islands of Santo Stefano, Ventotene, and Procida during the Bourbon era (1770-1860), territories that served as defensive outposts and penitentiaries at various historical periods. The initiative was promoted by Silvia Costa, Special Government Commissioner for the restoration of the former Bourbon prison of Santo Stefano/Ventotene, and curated by Candida Curino, Director of the State Archives of Naples, together with historian Anthony Santilli. Co-sponsors include the Ministry of Culture - Directorate General for Archives, the Campania Region, and the Municipalities of Procida, Ventotene, and Naples, in coordination with Invitalia, the implementing body for the Ventotene CIS.
